When you could have saved yourself and evryones time by ordering ahead. Im ranting because i was stuck behind some asshole in line ordering a bunch of shit and being rude. Instead of being a hard ass in line, roasting the staff. What more can an app do for you? Use the mic to listen to when your stomache growls and calculate the exact meal to be delievered by drone?Įven if its not faster, theres even still a benefit of having your order exactly. My point is how can you not see the benefit when the benefit is so obvious. While im speaking in many examples and metephors. But it benefits you and everyone if you plan ahead. Like go ahead and show up unaanounced to a tattoo artist with some great idea. Like ok you dont see the benefit… even tho the benefit is so obvious and everyone around you is benefiting from it. I dont see the benefit of planning vacation, or i dont see the benefit of scheduling my bday party ill just invite everyone today. In all cases in life, preparing ahead is usually a benefically action. Place the butter side down onto the salmon (Note 2) Spread remaining Spread on flatbread, again in a square shape. Spread a flatbread with butter - just thinly, like buttering a piece of bread. Idk, i just dont see how you can think there is no benefit to preparing ahead of time. Spread half on a flatbread in a square shape. Before my lunch break i order ahead and by the time i arrive its ready. On a busy day, or during rush it will save you a lot of time. Honestly as someone who worked at tims, im sure the staff would benefit and in turn would make your service even better. And still a lot better than standing in line and having to order. “Fumbling around an app, go through payment.” Thats literally less work than typing this comment. It saves your time, my time, the staffs time, everyones time. The other day i was stuck behind someone in line ordering a bunch of individual coffees while being rude. And saved other people from potentially waiting behind me. Saved atleast 15 minutes of waiting on the line and my order. Walked to tims, skipped a dozen people waiting. Different locations may use different setups but that’s how the mobile ordering system works in my area. I have on occasion had people who placed an order for a storefront pickup and then they went to the drive thru, or vice versa, which can create confusion for both the workers and the guest. It is then brought into the line of orders on the screen and will be prepped at that time.Īs previously mentioned, there is a delay setting in the app that can be used to stop your order from being sent right away, but I’m not sure if it’s different depending on the whole storefront/drive thru thing. In most scenarios it would take me around 2-5 mins to read this, spend 10 mins of my time to thoughtfully reply to these and curate resources that might be helpful. When sent as a drive thru pickup, nothing will show up until you arrive and tell the order taker what your name/order number is. If you place a mobile order and set it for storefront pickup, it automatically pops up on the screen, and is usually prepped and set aside. This method is good for self-motivated people with competing priorities who love crossing the easy items off their list (a little too much), and don’t need much support to stay focused.Mobile orders behave differently depending on whether it is sent as a storefront pickup or drive thru. Thursday: Make three lists, one for immediate tasks, one for future tasks, and one for tasks you’re never going to get done. This method is good for techies and people who have A LOT of tasks to organize, or are working on a variety of projects. Wednesday: Use a digital task manager. This method is good for daydreamers, multitaskers, and people who are easily distracted. Tuesday: Keep a running list but do just “one thing” on it.This method is good for people who like structure, aren’t afraid of a crowded calendar, and love planning ahead. Monday: Get rid of your to-do list and instead schedule out your tasks in your digital calendar.I tracked my overall productivity and stress levels to see which worked best. But which method prevails? Over four days, I tried four ways of organizing my to-do list. Use the app to let us know you’re here, stay buckled-in, and we’ll bring your order right to your car. Order and pay ahead of time, drive to the store, and park in one of our designated Curbside spots. There are a lot of methods out there for staying organized. See if a store near you has Curbside Pickup available on the app.
